💯(again imho) an individual should be able to tightly track what they send & receive. Vague generalities in any easily viewed public financial information seems like a good path forward, as far as data collection goes though.
Yeah, it always seemed off to me. I have never transferred from my wallet and it has been empty a couple times! I saw people judging on other's received/sent ratio, and I was like, but the data isn't accurate 😫 felt this to my autistic, scientific core 🫠😂 but agree on the obfuscation for less trackability hehe
😂🫂 there's definitely breaks. I.e., stuff that happens primal-to-primal gets missed by band quite often. There's also the 1k other factors.

Some of the judging is in jest. Some... 😬😂. I don't think shaming scammers is morally bad, but the definition of a scammer isn't ubiquitous.

Overall, I think good, solid network stats should be hard to track down and become increasingly difficult. Some complicated tracing & math would provide valuable insight, but each client/app/relay/whatever worrying about and sharing their own stats would probably produce more useful information and better network effect. I'm stretching beyond my thoughts on zaps here. Sorry. 😅
*a couple times, and it shows way more received than sent!
