after giving up for a month I finally managed to get hyprland on arch #linux working on my nvidia PC.
Even with hardware accelerated video decoding in your browser without screen tearing / flickering? :)

no tearing so far, hardware acceleration is enabled in firefox.

small update: after trying to play some CS2 on my PC I noticed a bit more stuttering than what I got on windows but it's literally only CS that's having that issue, every other game is running smooth with no tearing (vsync is off) or stuttering.
