@npub12kq…uf4j5 @npub1g0u…83vfw as a former fatty I remember feeling like shit all the time, usually without connecting my chronic issues to my eating at all (I thought it was normal), but often directly going:
>wow I ate two entire pizzas
>I feel like complete garbage right now
>what asshole did this to me?
I think the food itself is addictive. Last year I completely turned my health around, and in the beginning I still occasionally ate normal American food and I'd binge on it and feel terrible. After fully switching to a diet of gymbro chow and fish and cheese lunchmeats and things like that - more protein than normal but still a decent amount of carbs, and just avoiding added sugars and seed oils - suddenly binging isn't a problem for me. I never wanted to be fat, but only after changing my diet did not eating to fatness become easy.
