My only problem—more mine than 12tone's—is that I know almost nothing about sheet music so such videos always get too complicated for my layman's understanding and my brain skips these parts for the most part 😅

Not a movie, but I think #DoctorWho and #TheHour got me into writing #fanfiction (laugh at me, but I didn't know the concept until 2019, and I am basically a fossil) so I'd cite that as inspiration. Otherwise I think everything I see, read, or listen to inspires me in some way.

Since the crew is a mixed bunch religion does play a role in #HeraldPetrel in the sense that different cultures believe different things. It is not at the center of the story, neither in season 1 nor 2, but you will find it referenced in the way characters think about death and the afterlife or simply in side remarks or how they swear.
In #HeraldPetrel2 a common swear phrase in one culture is "What in the Mother Goddess fatherfucking name...??" and it drives my autocorrect crazy. 😆

I am a big fan of Postmodern Jukebox but overlooked so far this gem, their version of Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance, but @npub1r27…8yfqy pointed me to that gross oversight. One for @npub1mfg…7zv6k for sure.
